Teen dramas were established in the early 1990’s. A teen drama always focus on teenage characters and usually have soap opera elements. They follow the teen grow and develop while facing realistic teen issues, for example relationships, education, alcohol etc.  The slide show above include examples of some popular UK and American teen dramas aired on E4. (From the first image on the slide show) The Inbetweeners, Misfits, 90210, Skins and The O.C.
